There have been many moves to treat acne, a distressing dermatological condition. What’s hard about acne is that not one single solution can treat all types of acne. However, if there are different solutions to choose from, all acne problems of varying types now have an answer.
Clinique Acne solutions have done just that. Their skin care products have evolved greatly, making sure to answer every skin woe. One of the concerns that many people bring up about acne is how to cover it up. Most commercial brands offer concealers and foundations that cover up the unsightly marks, but leave your pores clogged. These types of cosmetics are called comedogenic and are more often than not oil-based. Oil-based cosmetics and acne does not work well together.
Fortunately, Clinique Acne solutions have formulated innovative acne products such as the concealing cream that covers your pimples and helps eradicate them in the process. These types of concealer and foundation have been specially formulated for acne prone skin. Other than cosmetics, Clinique Acne solutions have come up with a wide variety of products to help control acne. One of these products is the healing gel. The healing gel works as an anti-inflammatory agent. It is cool and specially formulated to help constrict the blood vessels causing the pimple to redden and swell.
There is also a great product that Clinique has introduced to its consumers. The Clinique Acne Solutions Clear Skin System offers its consumers a head way to a clearer skin. Acne affected skin need not worry of its condition with this product. What’s great about it is that it comes in a starter kit convenient to the buyers. This starter kit is good for 4 weeks use. With the starter kit, you can test for yourself if you have any untoward reactions to the product or if the product does not work for you. But this hardly happens as Clinique Acne treatments are designed to be hypoallergenic and work effectively on clearing acne infested skin.
The starter kit contains three perfect solutions to answer your acne concerns. The first solution is a cleansing foam. This first step helps your skin and pores to be washed of all the dirt and oil it has accumulated over the day. The second solution is an exfoliant that comes in a lotion form. Exfoliation is an essential step to help clear dead skin and allow new skin to breathe. The last solution is a moisturizer, necessary to keep your skin’s essential oils and to prevent from drying. Clinique Acne Products are available at reasonable prices and are oil-free. You don’t only get good clear skin; you also get to save as well with Clinique’s innovative acne products.

Following articles to find the right acne treatment.
Home Acne Treatment
Acne can be treated at home especially if it’s just a few innocent bumps. It is very important the acne infested area is clean by washing the affected portion twice a day with a mild and unperfumed facial cleanser. It is very important to use a mild cleanser because strong soaps strip the face of its natural oils leaving it to dry.
After washing, pat dry your face. Again, do not rub for this may cause further irritation. For this home acne treatment, we are going to use benzoyl peroxide. Just squeeze a generous portion in your finger and dab on areas of your face. After dubbing, spread the medicine gently until every part of the face is covered. After 15 minutes, you can now apply moisturizer. Do not wash the benzyl peroxide off your face.
Other points on this acne treatment:
Do not squeeze the life out of that acne no matter how much tempting and enjoyable it may seem. Avoid touching your face. If you must, use a tissue or a handkerchief.
Home treatment for acne may take days or even weeks to take effect so patience is a virtue, people.
Oral Acne Treatment
Another acne treatment you can try is the oral acne treatment wherein you just have to swallow an itsy, bitsy little pill to solve your acne problems. But take note that this is no miracle pill. This oral antibiotics have to be taken daily for around three months just to see the effects.
If you are a woman and is suffering from acne, you can try taking hormonal pills or contraceptive pills. These pills not only prevent pregnancy but it can also help clear up your face from acne. One pill called Diane has an ingredient called cyproterone acetate that is very helpful in eradicating acne.
Another medicine that can use for treatment of acne is Oral Retinoid. This medicine is most of the times used for severe and stubborn acne. But take note that this can’t be used by pregnant women for it can affect her baby. To avoid this, this medicine can only be obtained if prescribed by your doctor.
Specialist Acne Treatment
You have a date next week and that darn pimple just won’t clear up! Desperate times need desperate measures. If that’s the case then this is the acne treatment for you! Consult your dermatologist at once to have the acne treatment suited for you. Results are not instantaneous and it may hurt a little especially when your doctor has to inject medicine to your pimples one by one but it is faster than the two other methods. It is also a little more pricey than the other acne treatment but results would be definitely worth it.

There are many myths and misconceptions that surround acne and acne treatments:
Change your diet, an unhealthy diet causes acne. There is no medically proven link between diet and the causes of acne. Just eradicating chocolate and greasy food in isolation will not get rid acne.
Stress causes acne. Again, there is no proven link between stress and the causes of acne but it has been reported that acne may be associated with severe cases of stress.
Over the counter acne treatments and medicines are sure remove the symptoms of acne. Before you embark on a course of acne medication, you must consult your doctor as the effectiveness and side effects of the various treatments (and there are a vast range) varies from person to person depending on their individual skin type. Whilst some medicines can alleviate the less sever cases of acne, some require more serious treatment to get rid of the symptoms. Some side effects of these acne treatments include burning, inflammation and peeling of the skin.
Natural acne remedies do not work. This is not altogether true. Some reports have found that herbal acne treatments and natural remedies made from essential oils do provide some benefits and have been successful for some people in treating acne. It is important that those affected by acne research the subject well to ensure they get the right treatment for them. With all the conflicting advice and information available it can be very confusing. Acne can be a persistent condition but with the correct advice, perseverance and patience it can be overcome. Acne is an extremely common condition with many best acne treatments easily available.

Acne is found quite often in pubescent individuals. Because of a high genetic disposition to the condition, acne is particularly common in Western societies. It is believed that the presence of acne is due to an abnormal response to normal levels in the body of testosterone, the male hormone. For many individuals, this response tends to diminish over time, causing the acne to decrease by the time they reach their 20’s, or even disappear. Unfortunately, it is impossible to tell how long it will take for acne to completely disappear; for some people they may experience it for many decades- even beyond their 30’s or 40’s. A large number of people will experience this condition at some point in their life.
There are several different types of acne, as described below:
1. Acne Vulgaris – The most commonly experienced forms of acne and will appear around puberty it is typically to be found on a person’s face, shoulders and chest.
2. Acne Rosacea – This is a red rash which is predominantly found on a person’s face.
3. Acne Keloidalis Nuchae (also known as Pseudofolliculitis Nuchae)- this form of acne is caused by shaving.
4. Acne Conglobata (also knowns as Hidradenitis Suppurativa) – usually found in armpits, on the groin or buttocks, or also under women’s breasts. This type of acne describes chronic abscesses or boils on sweat glands and hair follicles.
5. Acne Cosmetica – as indicated by it’s name, this form of acne is caused by cosmetic use.
6. Acne Fulminas – Is an extreme form of Acne Conglobata.
7. Acne Medicamentosa – typically triggered by starting or finishing a course of medication.
8. Baby Acne – very commonly found on infants. It is a rash that can be found on the baby’s cheeks, chin and forehead.
9. Chloracne – caused by being exposed to chlorinated hydrocarbons, such as PCB’s or dioxins.
Hopefully the information provided to you above with regard to acne will help you to understand more clearly what it is and how it is caused.

You’re an adult and still battling acne. How can that be? Common wisdom says acne appears in your teen years, you treat, it goes away and that’s that.
Common wisdom is not true. More than half of adults suffer from one form of acne or another during their adult years. It can be frustrating and embarrassing. But, what can you do/ Trudge to the pharmacy and ask for a some teen acne cream?
Acne usually occurs when oil and dead skin cells get clogged in a pore and mix with bacteria. Adult acne can be caused by stress, hormones, birth control compounds or bad cosmetics. This is why women are more likely than men to suffer from it.
First, take a close look at your make-up. If you suffer from acne outbreaks avoid make-up that is oil based.
Certain medical conditions and prescription medications can also cause acne. If you have other symptoms of a hormone imbalance or if your acne began when you started a new medication, consult your physician.
Adult acne often manifests itself differently than teenage acne. Adult breakouts are often mild or moderate and do not usually result in scarring. Blackheads and whiteheads are less common. Adult facial acne is usually seen on the chin, lower cheek and below the jaw line rather than all over the face as is common in adolescents.
As an adult with acne, you might choose to visit your dermatologist. A dermatologist can diagnose the condition on your face as acne or a very similar appearing skin condition called rosecea.
Rosecea often appears with acne and can be caused by some acne medications. However, it is a separate condition and needs to be treated differently. A dermatologist can prescribe an effective topical or oral treatment for both acne and rosecea.
If you are confident that your skin condition is adult acne and you don’t think a dermatologist visit is necessary, you might want to visit your local drugstore and try some of the available over-the-counter treatments. There are many products available and it is worth doing a little research, either by talking to your friends or searching the internet to find one that is worth trying.
No matter which acne treatment you try first, be sure to wash your face twice a day with a quality cleanser that contains salicylic acid. Also, use moisturizer and sunscreen daily for good healthy skin.
While adult acne can be embarrassing, it is probably not a serious medical condition, but it may have significant ramifications. Adults who suffer from acne outbreaks may have low self esteem and lack the self confidence to succeed in personal relationships, or in the business world.
There are a wealth of products available to treat adult acne, so there is no reason to suffer. Do your research on the internet, then visit your favorite drugstore or dermatologist and get the help you deserve.

Acne occurs when the normal process of skin’s cell renewal is interrupted. Inside the sebaceous hair follicles (pores), oil keeping the skin naturally pliable and moist combines with the dead, old skin cells and are sloughed off in a normal skin renewal process. If dead skin cell turnover rate is uneven, they become gummy producing a blockage inside the follicle. Bacteria called propionobacterium acnes that normally live on the skin can thrive within these blocked pores. The bacteria, along with the trapped oil, swell the follicle as the skin’s natural oil production process persists inside the clogged pore. With large amounts of white blood cells, your body attacks this infection ultimately forming a pimple. The full pimple-causing process takes between 14-21 days. Occasionally in acute acne, the pocket of inflammation within a pore can rupture, forming irreversible scarring damage the skin enough to form irreversible scarring.
Typically, individuals with acne have acne vulgaris. This type of acne affects people of all ages and genders. There are various types of pimples you can develop. When pores become only partially plugged and a portion of the oil slowly drains to the surface, blackheads are bred. Whiteheads develop when the pore is totally clogged, trapping oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria, giving the whitehead its whitish appearance on the skin’s surface. Swollen, red, tender bumps that do not develop a head are known as papules. Do not set about to pop papules, as popping papules can increase the risk of scarring and infection. A swollen, red bump with a white or yellow head is a pustule. The pustule is very similar in appearance to the whitehead, but the redness and swelling is the difference. In more severe acne cases, nodules or cysts grow beneath the skin’s outer layer. Nodules are painful, much larger, hard bumps below the skin that can take months to rid of.Much larger, hard, painful bumps that can take months to eliminate are known as nodules. Cysts look like nodules, but are very painful and pus-filled. They have a diameter larger than 5mm. Nodules and cysts have the highest risk of scarring. Unfortunately quite often with cysts and nodules, scarring does happen. These types of pimples require a dermatologist’s assistance. Infection and scarring risks are much too great with nodules and cysts.
Acne rosacea is the other kind of acne. Acne rosacea appears similar to acne vulagaris, but strikes mostly those over 30 years of age and more women than men. It surfaces as a red rash containing pimples, bumps, and skin blemishes with blood vessels becoming more prominent. While acne vulgaris can affect any area of the human body, acne rosacea is , most of the time, confined to the cheeks, chin, forehead, or nose.
It is very important to keep acne prone areas clean. It is necessary to wash the acne affected area twice daily, each daywith an unscented cleanser. Look for cleansers that contain salicylic acid or creams containing benzoyl peroxide. Salicylic acid will dry the acne-affected areas, while benzoyl peroxide is made to increase skin’s turnover rate, helping to clean the pores. Antibacterial face cleansers and body soaps designed specifically for oily skin are also available for the treatment of acne. Remember that the skin needs a certain amount of oil to maintain its natural condition, so make sure to avoid aggravating acne by overwashing with strong, drying cleansers.
No cure for acne is known at this time. The real secret for controlling acne is prevention, which involves arresting the formation of acne before it grows into a pimple. Many prescription and over-the-counter treatments are available. In addition, consuming a whole foods diet plentiful in essential vitamins and minerals and drinking plenty of water can strengthen your immune system and flush toxins to keep your body’s natural defense system in peak form to defeat acne infections more easily. Treat acne as soon as it shows its first signs to eliminate the possibility of permanent scarring. Even after blemishes go away, you often have to maintain using an active acne treatment to prevent other blemishes from forming.

Below are some helpful, cheap and natural tips on what to do to keep your acne under control and keep your skin clear. Almost 100% of people between the ages of twelve and seventeen have at least occasional breakouts of whiteheads, blackheads or a pimple, now and then. Because I’m a registered nurse and have come in contact with many acne patients, I’ve learned a lot over the years about acne, acne scars, and acne treatments.
Acne is the most common skin disease. The most common type of acne is acne vulgaris. Acne is one of most common skin conditions in the world, affecting more than 40 million people. Acne will affect almost every person at some stage of their life.
Experts just can’t agree on what causes acne. Doctors think certain factors might cause or contribute to acne including hormone increases in teenage years, hormone changes in pregnancy, starting or stopping birth control pills, heredity, medicines and greasy make-up. The cause of acne is unknown and there is still much to be learned.
For the best acne treatment, which has worked for many, apply virgin coconut oil to the area daily; try it on a small test area for a day or two first. Some natural home remedies include dabbing on non-gel toothpaste or lemon juice to dry out zits. Try a diligent application of coconut oil several times a day and at bedtime to see the healing benefits.
There are many natural acne home remedies; you may have to try several to find one that works best for your skin type. This is a little messy but you can try making a paste by mixing three tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon together and applying the paste on your pimples at bedtime for two weeks, and wash it off each morning; honey has anti-bacterial action – a cheap, natural home remedy. Try applying a thin layer of coconut oil and massaging it deep into the skin to heal and soothe the affected area.
Besides acne, if you also have eczema or dry skin, coconut oil will treat those skin conditions too. Remember, that even the most gentle and natural products you might use to clean your face can leave your skin a bit dry; use coconut oil as an excellent way to re-hydrate the skin after using any acne commercial or natural cleanser. Make sure to stay out of the sun if you’re taking any acne medications.
A new, non-invasive treatment using red light and blue light in combination has been extremely successful on severe acne. Acne and its treatment is one of the most misunderstood topics there is when it comes to acne skin care. Shave carefully and try both electric and safety razors to see which works best for you.
Never underestimate the healing, restorative power of a good night’s sleep. A skin specialist in New York is using the new red light-blue light combination therapy to treat severe cases of acne successfully; ask your skin doctor or dermatologist if he’s familiar with it.
When your liver gets overloaded with toxins it’ll send the toxins out through your skin as well as other organs of elimination. To cure yourself of acne, you need to correct the problems going on inside of your body that are causing the acne. The best acne treatment is a diet that will help the body eliminate waste; if you’re eating the standard American diet (SAD) it’ll be reflected in your skin.
Essential fatty acids are particularly important to people with inflammatory conditions such as eczema and acne. Besides external acne treatment it’s even more important to work from the inside out too.
Eat high-fiber snacks like raw nuts, raw seeds, fresh or dried fruit, such as dates, and figs. The two most common digestive concerns that affect your skin are not enough water and not enough fiber. Drink plenty of pure, filtered water, a minimum of a quart a day.
Get plenty of sunshine on your arms and legs; sunshine triggers the production of Vitamin D3 which is essential to having healthy skin. The next time you want to have a snack, instead of junk food, help your skin – have an apple, orange, peach, pear, banana, plum, berries or any other fruit.
Don’t give up – try everything you can until you get relief from your acne. Analyze all the acne treatments available and make the best decision for you, based on your circumstances. There are many acne products on the market today, some are good, some are cheap and some are not good or cheap; no one knows but you what will work for you.

Almost 100% of people between the ages of twelve and seventeen have at least occasional breakouts of whiteheads, blackheads or a pimple, now and then. The problem with most acne treatments and acne products is that not everyone reacts the same way to the same treatment; what worked for one may not work for another. Because I’m a registered nurse and have come in contact with many acne patients, I’ve learned a lot over the years about acne, acne scars, and acne treatments.
Baby acne is a rash seen on the cheeks, chin, and forehead of infants. Acne vulgaris is most commonly experienced around puberty, typically of the face, shoulders and chest. In a survey conducted in Great Britain, 95% of 16-year-old males and 83% of 16 year-old females had acne. While almost all young people experience acne at least once, it’s been reported that 47% of those in their 20s and 30% of those in their 30s had acne.
Understanding that hormones may have some influence on the cause of acne is still being researched. New studies show that during times of high emotional stress, such as during exam time in high school, there are more acne breakouts; so are stress hormones the culprits? The cause of acne is unknown and there is still much to be learned.
The treatment plan for acne includes trying to heal the pimples, stopping new pimples from forming, preventing scarring and helping reduce embarrassment. Use baking soda on a test area carefully for exfoliation, if you feel you need it. A new, non-invasive treatment using red light and blue light in combination has been extremely successful on severe acne.
Try not to touch your affected skin to eliminate possible contamination. Any makeup you use should list on the label non-acnegenic or non-comedogenic. Acne and its treatment is one of the most misunderstood topics there is when it comes to acne skin care. Make sure not to use hot water on your face, always use lukewarm water. Shave carefully and try both electric and safety razors to see which works best for you. Some natural home remedies include dabbing on non-gel toothpaste or lemon juice to dry out zits.
Acne prone, sensitive skin can get irritated by using astringents, skin toners, rubbing alcohol, facial masks, make-up and certain hair care products. No over-the-counter creams can help your acne from the inside out; they can only kill some of the bacteria on your face and help reduce the redness. Most commercial cleansers are harsh on the face and trying to find the right one for you could cost a fortune.
If you wear make-up choose it carefully; it should be oil free.
The best acne treatment is a diet that will help the body eliminate waste; if you’re eating the standard American diet (SAD) it’ll be reflected in your skin. To cure yourself of acne, you need to correct the problems going on inside of your body that are causing the acne.
Whether you eat a natural diet of living fruits and vegetables or eat dead junk food, what you eat may have a direct or indirect affect on the male hormones which may or may not play some part in acne. In any case, no matter what skin or acne treatment you choose, whether it’s chemical, drugs, alternative, or natural methods, changing your diet alone will be the best treatment you can do for your acne and you’ll achieve overall good health in the process.
Eating fruits that are red or orange in color will help improve you skin health and help to prevent acne. Good clear skin is often a reflection of a good digestive system. When the skin is dehydrated, dead skin cells remain on the skin which may block pores and promote acne; drink plenty of water.
Drink plenty of pure, filtered water, a minimum of a quart a day. Drink freshly extracted carrot juice, if you can, every day; carrot juice is an excellent cleanser for the liver, great for the skin and contains tons of nutrients, all beneficial for acne.
Fortunately, many people have discovered through trial and error how to cure their acne. There is hope – keep researching and testing. And you should be able to get rid of your acne, zits and pimples and their symptoms so it doesn’t reoccur.

The main problem with most of the acne treatments and acne products is that not everyone reacts the same way to the same treatment; in other words what worked for one may not work for another. Because I’m a registered nurse and have come in contact with many acne patients, I’ve learned a lot over the years about acne, acne scars, acne treatments and treatments for other skin conditions. Living with acne can be very difficult, and it may be even more difficult to find just the right acne treatment for you.
The most commonly known types of pimples are whiteheads, blackheads, papules, pustules, nodules and cysts. Acne is the most common of all skin diseases. Baby acne is basically a rash seen on the cheeks, chin, and forehead of infants. Acne rosacea is a red rash seen predominantly on the face.
Experts usually don’t agree on what causes acne. If you’ve heard that dirty skin causes acne, it doesn’t – it’s definitely not true. Doctors think certain factors might cause or contribute to acne including, but not only, hormone increases in teenage years, hormone changes in pregnancy, starting or stopping of birth control pills, heredity, medicines and greasy make-up.
When you wash your face use a very soft touch, taking care not to rub or scrub your skin too hard. Since the latest research indicates a connection between stress and acne, make a serious effort to cut down on stress any way that you can. For the best acne treatment, which has worked for many, apply (preferably organic) virgin coconut oil to the area daily; try it on a small test area for a day or two first.
If you wear make-up make sure to choose it very carefully; it should be free of any oils. Too many chemicals can strip your skin of its natural oil protection and the skin will overproduce oil to compensate for it, blocking your pores and causing even more acne. Treatment with raw organic apple cider vinegar will work better on your skin if it isn’t already noticeably irritated from acne medicines, acne products or other failed treatment.
Try not to touch your affected skin to eliminate any possible contamination. One treatment method that some people have used is applying cornstarch, egg whites or milk of magnesia as a facial mask. It bears repeating, you want to be good to your delicate skin and never, never pop or squeeze a pimple no matter how tempting.
Besides an acne condition, if you also have eczema or dry skin, coconut oil will treat those skin conditions too. Raw apple cider vinegar application to the skin is a cheap, alternative acne treatment that has worked for many adults, teens and children with acne, zits, pimples, or other types of blemishes. Try applying a very thin layer of coconut oil and massaging it deep into the skin to heal and soothe the affected area.
It’s easy to treat acne cheaply, simply, naturally, yet still very effectively, at home. Drinking a lot of pure, filtered water may be one of the most important things you can do today for your acne, thus working from the inside out.
In any case, no matter what skin or acne treatment you choose, whether it’s chemical, drugs, alternative, or natural methods, changing your usual diet will be the best treatment you can do for your acne and you’ll achieve overall good health in the process. Adding a lot of fresh, raw fruit to the diet has helped many people clear up their skin conditions; there are tons of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients in fruits and vegetables. To cure yourself of acne, you need to correct the problems that are going on inside of your body that are causing the acne.
When your liver gets overloaded with toxins it will send the toxins out through your skin as well as your other organs of elimination. Some alternative doctors recommend eating a raw clove of garlic daily for acne; you can chop one up finely and add it to your daily salad!
Use olive oil with a tablespoon of very fresh flaxseed oil in your salads. Good nutrition will help your skin from the inside out. The next time you want to have a snack, instead of junk food, help your skin by having an apple, orange, peach, pear, banana, plum, berries or other fruit.
Eating foods with EFA’s (essential fatty acids) are particularly important for people with dry skin or acne. Eat at least one or two organic apples a day while working to clear up your skin; apples are good for skin health. Make sure they’re organic so you can eat pesticide-free skin (most of the apple pectin is in the skin), which also helps with constipation.
Be assured that scientists are constantly looking at new non-invasive ways to treat acne. Naturally you can’t expect to get rid of your acne in just a few days; natural treatments take a little time to work; but if you are persistent, you’ll get blemish-free skin and won’t experience any of the dangerous side effects that you might find in commercial acne medicines or treatments. Don’t give up – try everything you can until you get relief from your acne condition.

The key to healthy, clear skin, free of breakouts, pimples zits and blemishes is to choose a skin care regimen that’s right for you based on the type of acne or skin condition you have. Many sufferers with blotchy skin will try just one acne treatment and if it doesn’t work they give up. The problem with most pimple and acne treatments and acne products is that not everyone will react the same way to the same treatment. What worked for one person may not work for another.
Many studies have revealed that acne is not simply a problem for young people, acne and pimples also afflict people of many ages, can severely affect their daily lives. Acne is a broad group of skin rashes that have different causes. There are several types of acne. And acne will affect almost every person at some stage in their life.
Experts still can’t agree on what causes acne and pimples. As time goes by, more research may help determine just how male and female hormones influence acne and the role that diet plays. I think the cause of acne is related to our acidic, inflammatory ’standard American diet’ (SAD) and how it influences all of our hormones including the stress hormones.
Try to use products that have natural ingredients or use fewer products to allow your skin to heal naturally. Acne, pimples and their treatment is one of the most misunderstood topics when kind to your skin and never pop or squeeze a pimple no matter how tempting it is.
Since the latest research does indicate a connection between stress and acne, make an effort to cut down on stress in any way that you can. Use baking soda on a test area first very carefully for exfoliation, if you feel that you need it. Acne prone, pimple prone, sensitive skin can get irritated easily by using astringents, skin toners, rubbing alcohol, facial masks, make-up and various hair care products. Try not to use any of these types of products unless absolutely necessary.
A skin specialist in New York is using the new red light-blue light combination therapy to treat severe cases of acne successfully it’s reported on severe cases of acne. Ask your skin doctor, regular doctor or dermatologist if he’s familiar with it. Treatment with cheap organic raw apple cider vinegar, like Bragg’s, will work better on your skin if it isn’t already noticeably irritated from acne medicines, acne products or other failed treatment. But try a test area first and apply and treat very carefully. If you have to wear any make-up choose it very carefully. All make-up and facial products should be free of any oils.
When you wash your face use a very soft, careful touch, taking care not to rub or scrub your skin. Try not to use any scratchy washcloths, they can really irritate the skin and slow healing. You might try using papaya and its seeds for some exfoliating. It’s important to remember, that even the most gentle and natural products you might use to clean your face can leave your skin dry. Use virgin coconut oil to re-hydrate the skin after using any acne commercial or natural cleansers.
There are quite a few natural acne home remedies. You may have to try several remedies and treatments to find one that works best for your type of skin. Virgin coconut oil is very inexpensive. It’s one of the best, if not the best, and also cheap, natural home remedy.
Some alternative thinking doctors recommend eating a raw clove of garlic daily for acne. You can chop one up and add it to your daily dark green salad! People with skin disorders like acne, roscoe, psoriasis and others often are plagued with constipation. If you are, make sure you’re drinking lots of water every day and add more natural fiber from delicious raw fruits to your diet. The best dietary acne treatments are diets that help the body eliminate waste. And if you are eating the standard American diet (SAD) including meat, dairy, grains and junk food, it’ll be reflected in your skin.
Whether you eat a natural plant food diet of living fruits and living vegetables or eat dead junk food, what you eat may have the cause of acne. When you change your diet, your skin lesions should start getting better within a week or two, with significant improvement in the first month.
Make sure to eat high-fiber snacks like raw nuts, raw seeds, and fresh fruit and secondly maybe some dried fruit, such as dates, and figs, although fresh fruits are better for you. And drink freshly extracted carrot juice, if possible, every day. Raw, that is unpasteurized carrot juice is an excellent liver cleanser, great for the skin and contains tons of phytonutrients, all which are beneficial for acne. Good nutrition will always help your skin from the inside out.
And eating bright-colored fruits that are red or orange in color will help improve you skin health and help prevent acne or pimples. For an easy fiber boost, mix in one or two tablespoons of ground up flaxseeds into some raw applesauce, made from two to three apples, that you’ve processed in your food processor.
Naturally you can’t expect to get rid of your acne or pimples in just a few days. Natural treatments will take a little time to work, but if you’re persistent, you’ll get blemish-free, pimple-free, acne-free skin and won’t experience any dangerous side effects or adverse reactions that you find in commercial acne medicines. By simply following a good plan of action that you’ve developed for yourself and sticking with it, you can reduce the severity of your acne or pimples and even eliminate it entirely. There is hope, many have done it. And keep researching and testing.
